Offline personal storage

Your personal records, stored on the device. You choose what, if anything, leaves it.

Kryptbox is pocket hardware with 16 MB of protected storage for everyday information - logins, secure notes, PDFs, and compressed images. It is not a cryptocurrency wallet and does not connect to blockchains. There is no default cloud account; backups are optional and under your control.

Hardware

16 MB on the device.
Offline by default.

A dedicated storage chip holds your data locally. The device is not designed as always-on network hardware - routine use does not require an internet connection or a Kryptbox cloud account.

Capacity

What 16 MB holds
(maximums)

Everything shares one 16 MB pool. Each figure is the upper limit if you used all space for that type alone - not all at once.

  • Passwords & logins - up to ~20,000 entries
  • Text notes - thousands of notes
  • Documents - up to ~60 PDFs or Office files
  • Images - up to ~200 compressed JPEGs

Security

Designed to limit
remote access.

No cloud account and no remote sync by default - your files are not on our servers. Data is encrypted on the device. Keep the hardware with you and use a strong passcode, as with any portable storage you care about.

Control

Backups and recovery
stay under your control.

You can copy data to another device or keep recovery material offline. There is no subscription to unlock your own files, and no Kryptbox cloud account is required for normal use.
